Hi, I'm Vanessa — Founder of VK Branding, a boutique consulting agency helping beauty, wellness and lifestyle brands build a standout online presence through strategy, content and connection.

Before VK Branding, I was immersed in the media world. I interned at Bauer Media — home to iconic titles like CLEO, Cosmopolitan and Shop Til You Drop — and once dreamed of writing from their famous HQ at 54 Park Street. A few years later, in a full-circle moment, Bauer acquired the very company I'd started working for in 2016.

That role began at the front desk of beautyheaven and BEAUTYDIRECTORY. I'd planned to pursue journalism, but quickly discovered my real strength was people. I moved into client management and brand strategy — and never looked back.

During my time at Bauer Media, I had the privilege of working with incredible brands — from beauty names like Schwarzkopf, ECOYA, Peppermint Grove, LYCON Cosmetics, McPherson's and L'Oréal, through to global brands including eBay, Bayer, Mastercard and No7 Skincare (on behalf of WPP Media).

In 2019, I launched VK Branding to serve the beauty and lifestyle industry with a more personal, high-touch and strategic approach. Since then, I've worked with over 100 brands and business owners — from household names to high-performing founders across Australia's beauty, wellness and lifestyle space.

This isn't a traditional agency. It's a boutique model built for clarity, quality and relationship-led results.
